Return & Exchange
Indent Time
- A 70% down payment is required before shipment to Indonesia.
- The remaining 30% payment must be completed before delivery to the customer.
- For ready stock items, full payment (100%) is required upfront.
Lead Time
Indent items have a lead time of 5 months after the down payment is received.
Delivery Time
- Ready stock items will be delivered within 1 week after the date of purchase.
- Indent items will be delivered 1 month after the goods arrive in Indonesia.
- Customers must give Sawdust at least 1 week’s notice to arrange deliveries.
- Free delivery is available for the Jabodetabek area.
Cancellation
- All sale items are final. No exchanges, returns, or refunds are permitted.
- No reservations are allowed.
- Confirmed orders cannot be modified.
Damage Claims
- All complaints regarding damages or defects must be reported immediately at the time of delivery.
- Any damage that may have been caused by delivery or normal wear and tear will not be entertained if the claim is made after the delivery.
- A signed delivery order by the customer or their representative at the time of delivery is considered approval of the delivered item’s condition.
Freight Damages
- Customers are responsible for noting any freight damage at the time of delivery on the Bill of Lading (BOL).
- Failure to do so will result in an automatic denial of the claim, and Sawdust will not cover the product cost.
- If guidelines are not followed, Sawdust can only assist in trying to recover the cost from the shipper, but the claim is likely to be denied. It is imperative that any damage is noted at the time of delivery on the BOL.
Returns and Exchanges
- Returns for reasons other than freight damage or manufacturer’s defects must be pre-approved by Sawdust through a Return Merchandise Approval (RMA). RMAs can be obtained through your sales representative or online.
- Authorized returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and any incurred freight charges.
- Merchandise returns without authorization will not be accepted.
- Items with evidence of abuse or commercial use will not be accepted.
- The RMA will include instructions for returning merchandise, including information regarding the specific carrier to be used for the return. Merchandise must be sufficiently repackaged to avoid any damage in transit. Credit will not be given for items damaged during return transit.
